3.11 Barrier Gate Control

Open or lock barrier gates without processing a ticket (when required).

3.11.1 Opening the Barrier Gate

  1. Open Control Center (keyboard key or on-screen icon).
  2. Select the gate icon you wish to open.
  3. Use Manual Open (e.g., F5 or Manual Open icon).
  4. If explanation required: enter reason, select gate device, confirm OK / Enter.
  5. Gate opens.

If Justification is enabled, you must enter an explanation before completing the function.

3.11.2 Locking the Barrier Gate Open

  1. Open Control Center.
  2. Select gate icon.
  3. Use Keep Open ON (e.g., F6 or icon).
  4. If prompted, enter explanation and confirm.
  5. Gate remains open until Keep Open OFF is used.

3.11.3 Unlocking (Closing) the Barrier Gate

  1. Open Control Center.
  2. Select gate icon.
  3. Use Keep Open OFF (e.g., F7 or icon).
  4. If prompted, enter explanation and confirm.
  5. Gate closes and returns to normal functionality.
