- APM: Automatic Payment Machine
- Automatic Payment Machine: Central machine for patrons to pay before returning to vehicle
- Exception ticket: Ticket not processed in usual way (lost/damaged/special/single exit)
- Exit grace period: Time allowed after paying before using exit lane
- Insufficient funds transaction: IOU process (Issue ISF and Pay ISF)
- License Plate Recognition (LPR): Identifies vehicles by plates; can help establish lost ticket charge
- Main shift: Cashier’s scheduled shift
- MPS: Manual Pay Station
- Nil payment: Allow exit without paying (with explanation)
- Outpayment: Disbursement of cash from drawer (e.g., deposit, refill APM)
- Relief shift: Worked in place of cashier on break/absent
- Shift float: Cash in register at shift start; required for balancing
- Short Term Parking Ticket (SPT): Normal entrance ticket
- Special parking ticket: Issued when ticket lost but duration can be verified
- Special Sale: Non-parking transaction (e.g., abandoned change)
- Total payment: Complete disbursement at end of shift
- Validation ticket: Applies discount; can be created by cashier manager
