Prep
DRY ONLY
Orbital + blocks + Scotch-Brite. No wet sanding.
80 → 120 → 180 → 240 → 320 → 400 (all dry)
If you can feel it, paint will show it.
Gear
Scotch-Brite (grey)
Wax & Grease Remover
Etch + High Build + Colour + Clear
Prime Stage
ETCH
Bare metal only
HIGH BUILD
Everything else
Block back with 400 dry until smooth
Paint & Blend
COLOUR
Light tack → 3–4 coats
BLENDING
Fade colour into next panel lightly.
Use distance, not pressure.
Roof: blend upward, never stop mid panel
CLEAR COAT
Full panel if possible.
If blending:
Use blending clear
Fade last coat outward
PRODUCT TIP
Use blending thinners or fade-out spray for edge melt.
Hard paint edge = amateur hour. Always fade it out.
